The elevator, in some particular circumstances, can transform into a real TV studio or even a theater stage, albeit in miniature. In fact, there are so many occasions that have made this small daily space a place from which to start content, sketches and often social monologues.
For example, there is a long list of small elevator ride “accidents” involving well-known people who then used the opportunity to put on a show. This is the case of what happened during the important international trade fair MegaCon 2023 in Orlando, Florida.
During this American event which brings together thousands and thousands of people, two stars of the well-known Star Wars saga: Eman Esfandi and Diana Lee Inosanto, were trapped in an elevator just as they were on their way to a meeting dedicated to the television series that sees among the protagonists.
After a long period of waiting for the crowd already present at the event, a solution was reached: the organizers, together with the meeting moderator Arezou Amin, conducted the debate with the actors “remotely” until they managed to leave from the elevator. It all started on the web, as the audience had noticed the situation since Inosanto had connected via Instagram Live to explain the situation and the same feed was broadcast on the big screens so that the participants could see it.
Even this type of elevator hitch, therefore, can prove to be an opportunity for discussion and debate…
